What are the benefits of building?
1). The cost of building a home keeps in pace with the price of existing homes. It is not necessarily true that building costs more than buying an existing Home.
2). New!! The look, The Feel, The Smell, and the Peace of Mind of having something that is NEW are all good reasons to build.
3). Can't find what you want. Building often is the easiest and cost effective way to get what you want. We have seen many people buy homes and than spend tens of thousands of dollars to remodel and get what they wanted, when it would have saved them thousands to just build in the first place.
4). Building is Painless! Contrary to popular belief that building can be a frustrating and painful experience, building a home with Brookside Homes is painless. Why?
a. We iron out even the little details before you start building so that there are no surprises later on.
b. We are financially secure and a larger builder so when we give you a price quote we can and will stick to it. Most of the builders in the valley will do a cost plus approach to building. This means that whatever the home cost is what you will pay plus 10-15%. Often these builders will quote you a low price to get you to sign the contract, but in the end you are paying the cost to build the home plus 10% to the builder (Surprise, Surprise!). At Brookside homes we give you a firm price quote, and unless you make changes or additions that is the price you will pay regardless of our costs (NO SURPRISES!!!). Plus, because we iron out even the little details before the contract is signed very few changes will be needed during the building phase! (Note: Brookside homes can and will do a cost plus approach if that is what you want. In such a case our size and connections will keep the cost down and the satisfaction up.)
Does building cause Marital problems, Divorce?
Not at all!!! There are times with other builders when costs are higher then expected, and deadlines to decide what paint, carpet, or windows are tight, stress is high, and couples fight. Not with Brookside! With our firm price quotes and our philosophy on settling all of the little things before you start building we keep the stress and the fights to a minimum!
